CARROT HULWA - Gajar ka Haalwa
Gajar ka halwa, also known as gajorer halua, gajrela, gajar pak, and carrot halwa is a carrot-based sweet dessert pudding from the Indian subcontinent. It is made by placing grated carrots in a pot containing a specific amount of water, milk and sugar and then cooking while stirring regularly.
◆ Ingredients
● Carrots _ 225gm
● Sugar - 115gm
● Milk - 500gm
● Ghee - 55gm
● Dry fruits and nuts - 20gm
● Cardamoms - 1Tsp
◆ Method
1. Wash carrots, scrape and grate.
2. Add carrot to milk and cook.
3. When milk dries up add fat and fry.
4. Add sugar, prepared fruits and crushed cardamoms.
