 POTATO KACHORIES

Ingredients

● Potatoes - 225gm

● Onions - 30gm

● Green peas - 50gm 

● Sugar - a pinch 

● Lemon juice - 1/2Tsp

● Sultanas - 15gm

● Turmeric - a pinch 

● Chilli powder - a pinch 

● Salt - to taste 

● Coriander leaves - a few 

● Fat - 20gm 

● Flour - to roll

● Fat - for fry


Method

1. Peel and boil potatoes, remove water and dry on fire).

2. Mash potatoes into a smooth paste.

3. Chop onion and fry in fat; add turmerie, chilli powder, boiled peas, salt, lemon juice, sugar, coriander leaves and sultanas.

4. Divide potatoes into 6 portions and put in filling, making round balls.

5. Roll these balls in flour.

6. Fry in deep fat and serve hot:
