- Basmati Rice – 200gm
- Paneer ( Cottage Cheese ) – 50gm
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Butter – 2tbsp
- Ginger & Garlic paste – 1tbsp
- Mixed Dry fruits – 30 gm
- Green Cardamom – 3
- Cinnamon – 1inch
- Bay leaf – 4
- Clove – 4
- Cumin – 1tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water – 400 ml
Method
- Heat half of oil, add butter.
- Add 3 cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon, & clove, saute for 1min.
- Add rice saute for 2 min, add water when starts boiling cover & cook on low heat till rice cooked.
FOR TADKA
- Heat oil, add cumin seeds & remaining cardamom, saute for 1min.
- Add dry fruits.
- Add small cubes of paneer, saute for 2 min.
- Add ginger garlic paste cook for 2 min.
- Add cooked rice, saute & cook for 2-3 min.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, fried onions & pomegranate.
