Kashmiri Pulao


Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice – 200gm
  • Paneer ( Cottage Cheese ) – 50gm
  • Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Butter – 2tbsp
  • Ginger & Garlic paste – 1tbsp
  • Mixed Dry fruits – 30 gm
  • Green Cardamom – 3
  • Cinnamon – 1inch
  • Bay leaf – 4
  • Clove – 4
  • Cumin – 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 400 ml


Method
  1. Heat  half of oil, add butter.
  2. Add 3 cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon, & clove, saute for 1min.
  3. Add rice saute for 2 min, add water when starts boiling cover & cook on low heat till rice cooked.

FOR TADKA
  1. Heat oil, add cumin seeds & remaining cardamom, saute for 1min.
  2. Add dry fruits.
  3. Add small cubes of paneer, saute for 2 min.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste cook for 2 min.
  5. Add cooked rice, saute & cook for 2-3 min.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves, fried onions & pomegranate.

SERVE WITH ANY MEAT
